Fabulous day at the wedding of Claire and Danny at The Woodlands at Hothorpe Hall. We had met Claire at a previous wedding and there were so many people at the wedding we knew which made it all the more special.

I started the day at one of Claire’s bridesmaids homes where she was starting to get ready. Dan from Daniel Yates Films arrived at the same time to film the video, always a pleasure to work with him. There was lots of activity. The lovely Natalie from Renaissance Hair in Daventry was a bridesmaid but before those duties she had hair styling to see to! It was nice to see Claire Shiner again who was doing make up. Once hair and make up was done it was into the cars to make their way to the venue.

 Danny was at home getting ready and Kev captured some lovely father/son moments as they got dressed into Marc Darcy suits.

Arrival at The Woodlands Hothorpe Wedding

When Claire arrived at The Woodlands, Steph who was running the day was there to greet her and get her hidden away in one of the lodges where she continued getting ready. She looked stunning in her Serendipity gown.

It was lovely to see Toastmaster, Garry Smith and great to work with him to make Claire and Danny’s day run smoothly.

There was beautiful decor from Nerissa Eve Weddings and stunning flowers from Rachel of Albetine Floral including around the outdoor ceremony area. Henrietta the Harpist provided the music for the ceremony which for the most part was conducted rain free but as soon as the signing of the register began the heavens opened which did provide us with some amusing images. We had the odd shower but all at the right time so were able to make use of the beautiful grounds at Woodlands for photos.

Wedding Speeches Hothorpe

There were some entertaining speeches during the wedding breakfast before everyone tucked into a BBQ. The day was so relaxed, just as Claire and Danny had wanted. Before the evening party got underway with dancing to Apollo Gold the newly weds cut their cake made by Tina Carvell.
