Wedding Photography at Dodmoor House is always such a pleasure so when Emma and Paul contacted us to book us as their wedding photographers we were obviously delighted.
Unfortunately they had to wait a little longer than planned due to a certain pandemic that threw a spanner in the works. It was third time lucky with the dates and a few tweaks to the original plans and their day finally arrived.
Tove Valley Cottages
Emma chose to get ready at Tove Vallery Cottages in Towcester as she would be near to St Lawrence Church where the marriage was to take place. What a lovely morning with her parents, close family and bridesmaids. Kev captured a few shots of Paul getting ready before making his way to the Church where he met up with Ben from BRS Videography. Ben was not only filming the day but was “live-streaming” it too for all those that couldn’t be there.
The service was beautiful. When we came outside the earlier torrential rain had disappeared for just enough time to throw some confetti and take some group photos.
Wedding Photography Dodmoor House
We arrived at Dodmoor House to the usual friendly welcome from the team. It was so nice to be back. We captured a few photos with the cars before the newly-weds joined their nearest and dearest for the drinks reception. It was a really relaxed atmosphere. Mango Acoustic were doing a brilliant job of entertaining the guests. Yet more fellow suppliers we hadn’t seen in such a long time. A mention for Orange Blossom Florists too as they did all the floral arrangements and bouquets.
Lemon Zest provided the wonderful wedding breakfast. We then had speeches outside which made a pleasant change. We almost got through all the speeches before the rain returned!
Emma and Paul were able to do a first dance to music from Mango Acoustic again.
Such a fabulous day with fabulous people. So good to be back doing Wedding Photography at Dodmoor House.
