Wedding Photographer Alrewas Hayes

Jan 11, 2020 | IN LOVE

We love a wedding at a new venue for us so when Laura and Ric asked us to be the wedding photographer Alrewas Hayes we were really excited. We were even more excited when we saw how lovely this Staffordshire wedding venue is. On the day itself we had blue skies and sunshine so the place just shone and everyone was able to spend time outside in the beautiful surroundings. We had the pleasure of the company of Re-Live it Productions who were videoing alongside us on the day too.

Laura got ready at her parents’ home. It was so lovely to see Natalie Bishop of Bridal Hair Specialists. It had been a while since our paths had crossed. I also got to work with Emily Grosvenor who was doing the make up. It was a lovely morning. Laura had chosen a stunning Essense of Australia gown from Wedding Belles of Four Oaks. She really did look amazing. Cars from Celebration Cars arrived to take her to The Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church.

Ric was getting ready at home and Kev had the pleasure of being able to photograph their gorgeous dog! Suits were from Dapper Dan.

Church Wedding

The church service was so lovely and the priest did a great sermon which made everyone smile. Once married they came out to their first confetti throw! After a few photos we all made our way to the venue where drinks, canapes and ice cream from Gelato Palazzo were being served. Enigma string quartet entertained. We managed to get the group photos done complete with drone and then a few couple photos and before we knew it the time had come to make the way into the marquee for the wedding breakfast.

A special mention at this point for our friends from Ava Event Styling who did the flowers. Amazing as always! Tristan Mackay was singing during the meal and also sang at the start of the evening celebrations.

Evening Wedding Photographer for Alrewas Hayes

Despite the failing light we were able to get outside for some more couple photos. Consequently this turned into the most beautiful sunset.

Lastly it was time to photograph the evening celebrations which started with the cutting of the cake from Cotton and Crumbs and then the first dance.

Basically we had a brilliant day with a fab couple and loved being wedding photographer at Alrewas Hayes.
