We had a fabulous day with Kate and Chris doing the photography at their summer wedding at Ashton Lodge Country House. Lots of family and friends all joined them to celebrate and it was a relaxed and fun day to photograph. We have been the wedding photographer at Ashton Lodge many times and we always enjoy the exclusivity that couples have.
Kate and Chris decided that they would get ready at the venue, keeping to tradition by getting ready separately. Kate was having make up done by Samantha Kibbler and hair by Kirsty Madely. Both did a beautiful job. Kate’s dress was perfect for her. She purchased it from Wed2B.

Kev joined the guys who were getting ready along the corridor. They all had smart suits from Albie and Lonnie’s.
Rachel from Albetine had been busy with the flowers which were stunning and perfect for the theme that the couple had in mind.
Ashton Lodge Wedding Ceremony
Once ready and the guests were all seated it was time to make our way into the ceremony. Guitarist Andy Dove was playing. We had Sue and Dee from the registry office in Rugby conducting the ceremony and there were smiles and happy tears throughout.
We had a gorgeous day (the grass was still green at this point!) so everyone made their way onto the terrace after the ceremony for drinks and photos.
There were some great speeches after the wedding breakfast and then it was time to greet evening guests and get the evening entertainment underway. But first of all it was cake cutting. Chris’ sister Emma had done a wonderful display of cakes for the couple. Straight after this it was time to get the dancing under way and the ever popular Dukes Jetty played live and kept the disco running in between sets.
As I say it was a great day and we loved every minute especially seeing some familiar faces. Big thanks to the team at Ashton Lodge who worked hard to ensure everyone had a brilliant day.
