Bride and groom in field for wedding photography at Curradine Barns

Curradine Barns Wedding Photography

Jul 21, 2018 | IN LOVE, WEDDINGS

It was fabulous to return to Curradine Barns in Worcestershire for the wedding photography of Zoe and Tom. This venue is very close to our hearts as it was where we photographed our first professional wedding. The weather was absolutely glorious but very hot too as many of our summer weddings have been this year!

We met up with the pair at the venue where they were getting ready. I had a lovely time with the girls who were having hair and make up done by Rebecca Haines. Zoe’s beautiful Mori Lee dress from The Dressing Room in Halesowen had pride of place in the bridal changing room.  A special mention for the shoes. Zoe is a shoe designer and designed the stunning shoes for herself and the girls. There was a beautiful patterned material running through the wedding details too including the shoes which were made by Vanilla Moon.

Kev was with Tom who had his best woman and ushers with him. The guys had suits from Peter Posh and the ties were made by Rob Holcroft.

There were some stunning floral displays around the venue including Zoe’s bouquet. These were from Wild Magnolia.

A friend of the couple conducted the ceremony which added to the very personal feel. Music plays a massive part in the couple’s lives as they met through the theatre so there were musical performances throughout the ceremony which were very moving. A beautiful solo performance and then a choir sang, informally known as Taswed Choir.

Drinks Reception Curradine Barns

After the ceremony it was out for drinks. Their lovely little dog came to join them for this part of their day. We had some time for group photos, confetti, couple photos and mingling before everyone made their way in for the wedding breakfast.

We were able to get out for a few more photos because the sun was lower in the sky after the meal. It was then time to cut the fab cake made by Zoe herself before the first dance. This was one of my favourite first dances. They did a choreographed dance to music from Sister Act which was the show where they met. It was fantastic. We were also told about a singing surprise from Tom to Zoe which was happening so we held on a little longer for this. DJ Ed Steelefox kept the dancefloor full for the rest of the evening.

Thank you to Toni and the team at Curradine for a fantastic day.
