There are some weddings that just feel good from the very start and Jo and Nick’s day at Ashton Lodge was exactly that. Sunshine, warm air, relaxed laughter and so much love wrapped into one beautiful Warwickshire celebration.

A Dad Reveal to Remember

Before the ceremony, Jo shared a quiet, emotional moment with her Dad in the bridal changing room.

There’s something so powerful about those pre-aisle reveals. The nerves. The anticipation. The proud parent trying not to cry (and usually failing!). It was intimate and incredibly moving, one of those moments that reminds us why we love what we do.

A Ceremony First for Us

We’ve photographed a lot of ceremonies over the years… but this one had a first!

During the ceremony, everyone joined in for a singalong, with the brilliant Chris Keys playing the piano.

And when we say everyone, we mean everyone.

The sound of all their favourite people singing together filled the room with warmth and personality. It was relaxed, joyful and completely “them.” These are the moments guests talk about for years afterwards and we loved capturing every smile and sideways glance.

Sunshine, Flowers & Garden Games

The weather could not have been kinder. Blue skies and warm sunshine meant guests could fully enjoy Ashton Lodge’s stunning grounds. There is nothing more beautiful than a sunny Ashton Lodge Country House Wedding.

Jo chose beautiful blooms from White’s Florist, soft, romantic arrangements that complemented the venue perfectly. The florals added colour and elegance without overpowering the relaxed feel of the day.

Out on the lawn, garden games kept guests entertained throughout the drinks reception. Laughter, a little healthy competition and the kind of atmosphere that makes a wedding feel effortless and fun exactly what a sunny Warwickshire wedding calls for.

Golden Hour & Sparklers

As the day softened into evening, we were treated to the most beautiful sunset. Ashton Lodge always delivers stunning golden hour light.

Then came the sparklers.

There is something so magical about ending a wedding day surrounded by your favourite people cheering as you walk through. It was the perfect, joy-filled finale to an already unforgettable day.
