Andreea and Hugh chose us to do the wedding photography at Dunchurch Park Hotel which they had chosen as their wedding venue. They knew the place pretty well….Andreea works there! So it was a really honour that they chose us to photograph their special day. Dunchurch Park is a venue that we have photographed at many many times and it is always such a pleasure. There are stunning grounds and the Great Hall is also beautiful.

The day started for me in the bridal changing room at the hotel with lots of familiar faces in the bridal party! Beth Hall was doing the make up for the ladies and Demi from Mack was on hair styling duty. We have all crossed paths quite a bit this year. With a little help from Zoe we managed to get a lovely photo of Andreea’s dress from Wed2b. It’s handy when you have a bridesmaid who is a member of staff.

Albie and Lonnie’s Wedding Suits

Hugh decided not to use the hotel to get ready but had his groomsmen with him as they got into their suits from Albie and Lonnie’s. He then made his way to the Church in Bourton where vicar Allie was waiting to welcome them. There were a couple of stunning family cars that were used on the day including the one that transported Andreea to the Church. There had been lots of guests who had travelled from overseas which was so lovely.

The service had everything that a marriage ceremony should have. A few happy tears and a little bit of laughter too. Afterwards everyone congratulated the newly weds before lining up for the confetti throw and then it was back to Dunchurch Park.

Amin was running things on behalf of the hotel and was ready with drinks when Andreea and Hugh arrived. I have to mention the weather at this point…check out those blue skies!

Wedding Photography Dunchurch Park Lake

We found a bit of shade for some family photos and then made our way down to the lake for the couple shoot! Wow it was looking great! Fantastic colours too.

The Great Hall was the venue for the wedding breakfast and this had been decorated by Gem Celebrations with Flowers by Michelle having done all the floral displays and bouquets too. It really did look fabulous.

Before the evening got underway we were able to grab the couple for a sunset shot….this was hijacked by some guests too!! So much fun.

It was then in for the cutting of an amazing reveal cake by Karen of Cakes Fabulous Cakes followed by the first dance with music by Jonny of Crazy Horses.
